BREWMASTER TALKS CABC EXCLUSIVE BEER NO. 4

Our fourth Beer Club box is here and it's as mysterious as ever! This month, we brewed not one but TWO exclusives beers that you won't find anywhere else. Read more on this month's CABC exclusives below and, as always, enjoy the rest of our carefully curated selection!

COLLECTIVE ARTS BEER CLUB BOX NO. 4

CABC EXCLUSIVE BEER NO. 4

Our first exclusive beer this month is an IPA that was brewed with phantasm powder and using Galaxy and Lotus hops for a deep and complex flavour. With aromas of bright citrus such as nectarine, with sweet mango and passion fruit, this IPA is juicy and vivid. This brew has a luscious mouthfeel with hints of citrus peel and a nice clean finish.

CABC EXCLUSIVE BEER NO. 5

Then we have our second exclusive brew, a freshly baked Blueberry Crumble Pastry Sour. This sour comes in a gorgeous violet colour and is made with tons of fresh blueberries. This beer has notes of pie crust, sweet vanilla and of course, ripe blueberries. I recommend pairing this with your favourite blues album.

POG FRESH FRUIT SOUR

The latest in our sour series! This POG (Passion Fruit, Orange & Guava) Sour is guava forward on the nose, packed with tropical flavour from all the fresh fruit we added! Adding in the fruit unfermented creates a real fruity punch in the final product. This brew is golden in colour with a light orange hue, slightly tart, with a sweet finish. This brew is barely on shelves yet but will be coming to stores soon!

TRANSCENDENCE
WEST COAST IPA

This small-batch West Coast IPA is brewed with Galaxy, Mosaic & Citra hops. With tropical aromas of lychee, mango and strawberry, with just a hint of pine, Transcendence is perfectly balanced with bitterness from spruce needles and citrus rind flavours. Our taprooms may have a few of these in their fridges, but otherwise you won't find it anywhere else!

COSMIC MACHINE
NORTH GERMAN PILS

Most beer lovers already know that the Pilsner style originated in the Czech city of Pilsen (or, Plzeň). But a little further north, German brewers have taken to putting their own spin on the classic Pils! Crisp and crushable, Cosmic Machine is a North German-style Pils, delivering a firmer bitterness than its compatriots further south and a ton of flavour from Mittlefruh and Hersbrucker hops.

GET IT DRY-HOPPED
BLONDE ALE

This beer was created in collaboration with Hip-Hop Duo, Run the Jewels. Get It is an easy drinking Dry-Hopped Blonde Ale. This brew was created to be the ultimate refreshing beer, one you can sip on a summer day while you're hanging out, enjoying your favourite tunes in the backyard. Bright yellow haze in appearance, with a subtle but present dry-hop of Citra and Enigma hops puts a tropical fruit and citrusy twist on a clean blonde ale.

STRANGER THAN COFFEE & MAPLE SYRUP PORTER

An exclusive sneak preview of an upcoming release! This twist on our Stranger Than Fiction Porter is sure to become a favourite this fall and winter. We started with our flagship porter and then added copious amounts of both our very own Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup and freshly roasted coffee from our friends at Hamilton's Detour Coffee. The result is a beautiful marriage of chocolate and sweet maple syrup, balanced with the fresh roastiness from the coffee.

IPA NO. 22:
SABROLICIOUS LOTUS

The newest iteration of our IPA Series utilizes an exciting combination of new-school and experimental hops. The trio of Sabro, Lotus and HBC 472 hops delivers a wildly complex flavour profile, which is easiest to describe as a blend of coconut and juicy orange flavour. Trust us, this is perfect for late-summer sipping!

RHYME & REASON
CITRA PALE ALE

The brew that started it all! Rhyme & Reason was the first beer we ever released way back in 2013. These days it can be a bit of a rare sighting so we wanted to make sure you got some from our latest batch. Maybe you've never tried it, maybe it's been a while; regardless, this Citra Pale Ale showcases the best that Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe hops have to offer. And at only 5.7% ABV, it’s far more sessionable than your typical American IPA. 

PARADISE FOUND
RUM DAIQUIRI

Get ready for a tropical fruit explosion! With passion fruit, raspberry, and a burst of lime on the nose, this fruity cocktail is perfectly paired with our Barrel Aged Maple Syrup and Rum. The taste is delectable, bursting with fruit, sweet and sour and reminiscent of laying on a beach in a tropical paradise.

RHUBARB & HIBISCUS GIN

Speaking of trying something a little different, have you sampled any of our award-winning gins? As a bonus this month we've included a 50ml sample bottle of our Rhubarb & Hibiscus Gin. Delightfully bright, this gin was created with a whimsical blend of botanicals. Like the first bite of an orange, it's juicy and floral, complemented by fresh citrus and botanicals that leave a tart, warm ginger finish on the palate.

BLACK CHERRY VANILLA SPARKLING BOTANICAL WATER

The perfect pairing for our Rhubarb & Hibiscus Gin, or delicious all on its own! This non-alcoholic Black Cherry Vanilla botanical soda is juicy, sweet and fun, like eating cherry vanilla ice-cream straight from the tub. All of our Sparkling Botanical Waters are light, refreshing, and flavoured with real botanicals. enjoy them on their own or pair with one of our gins!
